Description
AVCEM Power Crete is an acrylic polymer based Liquid for Cmentitious coating and when used 00244-as recommended, combines with cement and fine sand to form an impermeable coating by blocking the capillaries and pores of the substrate of concrete. It is additionally UV rays resistant.
USES
AVCEM Power Crete is recommended for use in all structures that are required to be Waterproofed and protected against the ingress of moisture, like Roof/ Terrace, Basements, Water tanks, Swimming pools, Retaining Walls, Bridge walls, Tunnels, Sewage tanks, Reservoirs, Dams, Dock gates. Sunken portion, Toilets, balcony etc.
ADVANTAGES

Low permeability makes mortar or concrete waterproof. Imparts chemical resistance to substrate.
Reduces or prevents salt penetration into the concrete. Non-Toxic and can be used in water tanks.

APPLICATION
Substrate must be sound, clean free from loose particles or laitance and preferable is wire brushed. Cracks must be treated first depending on the type of crack. The prepared surface must be thoroughly wetted with water for absorption and excess water to be removed. Mortar paste is to be filled and level the depression.

CURING
Sprinkle water over coating after 6 hrs. of 1st and 2nd coat of AVCEM Power Crete For three days before submersion in water.

HANDLING PRECAUTIONS
AVCEM Power Crete is non-toxic, prolonged skin contact should be avoided. In case of contact with eye’s, wash with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. Cleaning of tools to be done with water
